Meet the DirectorsWelcome to the Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group, more commonly known as DMAIG. We are a resource for Penn State alumni and members of the THON™ community to stay connected to the mission of THON and Four Diamonds! It is an honor to serve the largest AIG for the 2019-2021 term. I hope that we inspire you to seize an opportunity to begin, reignite, or continue your involvement with THON.
I have been involved with THON since 2008 - as an organization member, independent dancer, and committee member - and am thrilled to have witnessed the tremendous growth of the THON community since. The need for a cure is ever growing, but so are the number of volunteers and donors. It has been a pleasure to watch DMAIG grow alongside THON; focusing our purpose, developing a new brand, relaunching our website, and expanding our events. |
As a Penn Stater, I believe that our obligation to our alma mater doesn’t end at graduation. We have an opportunity and the responsibility to make a difference in our world. For anyone asking, “How can I stay connected with THON after graduation?” or “How can I help support THON now that I’m an alum?” I hope you find the answer here with DMAIG, and that you will join us to continue in the fight and learn about more ways to get involved throughout the year and THON Weekend.
