Advocate for a Cure
Join the Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group (DMAIG)
To join DMAIG, Contact us at [email protected]. We’ll be sure to reach out with more information on how you can continue helping in the fight against cancer as well as updates on events near you. We work to keep our members updated on everything happening within THON as well as alumni events and fundraisers. Our mission is to promote a continuing relationship between students and alumni who care about THON. We will support THON by providing opportunities for alumni to give time, money, and resources to aid in the conquering of childhood cancer.
Join your local Penn State alumni group
Many alumni groups are involved in THON in a variety of ways. Join your local group to stay updated on alumni THON events in your area as well as ways that you can work to help THON through your community.
Get involved with an alumni THON event
THON alumni have started several alumni THON events across the country, and getting involved with them can give you a meaningful way to consistently stay involved in THON after your time as a student is over. Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, New York City, New Jersey, and Georgia and several other cities host annual events to support THON. For more information on these events and other alumni dance marathon events, check out the Alumni Events tab on this website.
Promote DMAIG and THON on social media
The power of social media is undeniable, and a good social media presence is absolutely essential to the success of both DMAIG and THON.
