Central Maryland Alumni Event - February 10th
Submitted by Technology on Mon, 01/28/2013The Central Maryland Chapter is excited to be partnering with Bare Bones Grill in Ellicott City for a fundraising event to benefit the Penn State 2013 IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon (THON).
The Chapter will be showing the "Why We Dance" Documentary on the big screen TV at Bare Bones and we invite all Penn Staters, their family and friends to Bare Bones to enjoy a wonderful dinner on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 5-9pm. Bare Bones will be donating 20% of all proceeds made during this timeframe (5-9pm) to THON.
Bare Bones is owned and operated by Penn State Alums and is located at 9150-22 Baltimore National Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21042.
Dance Marathon AIG Award Nominations NOW AVAILABLE!
Submitted by Technology on Thu, 01/17/2013To celebrate alumni events reaching $1,000,000 raised, the Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group is hosting a reception during THON Weekend 2013.
During the reception on Saturday, February 16th, two awards will be given out to individuals and groups for their work with THON/4D as alumni:
• DMAIG Volunteer of the Year Award
• DMAIG Fundraiser of the Year Award
NOTE: NOMINATIONS CLOSE FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8 AT 5:00PM!
Eligibility:
• Any THON alumni, organization, or group striving to continue THON’s work since graduation is eligible for nomination.
• Organizations/groups do not have to be recognized DMAIG chapters.
• Self-nominations are accepted.

Alumni Event in Cleveland, Oh
Submitted by Technology on Thu, 01/17/2013Join Penn State alumni from around Northeast Ohio to help fight childhood cancer. They'll gather at the Winking Lizard in Bedford Heights on January 26 from 6 until 8 pm. You’ll be able to try to win great prizes and take part in a 50/50 raffle.
The cost is $20 a person, which includes a dinner buffet. RSVP is required, so email PSUCleveland@gmail.com by January 16 to register or ask any questions.
